About the Author

I was raised but not born on the Canadian Prairies. I have lived in the land of mostly flat for virtually all of my life. I went to university in the Maritimes and obtained a BA (Hon) Degree in English Literature and Mathematics before returning to Saskatchewan for an education degree.

After two years of teaching, I have retired for now (perhaps for good) to raise my three children as a Stay-at-Home Mother. I enjoy the work of teaching and parenting – it is very fulfilling – and I am excited to be starting something new in sharing my stories with all of you.

My writing life began long ago. As with most people who went to school, I was writing stories with topics like “what my parents mean to me” as early as probably second grade. My first novel was started during my maternity leave with my first child and I’m sorry to say it is the slowest novel ever written, as I am still working on it to this day. I have since completed other works and am setting them free onto the internet to share with you.

I hope you enjoy the content on the blog and feel free to contact me if you want to say hi. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little bit. Tell me a little about yourself in the comments.
