Hello, May Flowers! Well, where I am it’s more like “Please be gone, April Snow” but what can you do?
I’m back to regularly scheduled programming which means regular updates for my stories and twice-weekly posts here. The posts I have planned will range from random stories about my life to excerpts from stories to posts about the writing process. I’m also planning a few bits of bonus content!
I’ve finished posting all of my novellas I started in February and my very first novel, Slow Motion Whirlwind, is also complete.

So this month I’m starting to post a whole new project which I’m having so much fun writing! I hope you have as much fun reading it as I’m having writing it. I feel like we all need a little fun right now.
Oh! And Allie and I are more than ten chapters into The Road to Christmas! It’s taken us longer than we’d hoped, but it is turning out so good and I’m anxious to share it with everyone. Hopefully I’ll have more information about that in the next couple months.
As always, thanks so much for reading,
Elizabeth.
Preview – A Royal Internship Chapter One
I ignored Josh’s attempts to question me further, finishing my hair with a large coat of hairspray and sliding some light tinted gloss across my lips. I stood up and looked in the mirror, smoothing my dark green skirt and fixing the collar on the matching jacket. This is as good as it’s going to get.
“I’m leaving now,” I kissed Josh’s cheek and slipped on my black pumps, adding three inches to my already tall stature. I picked up my briefcase and walked out the door.
“Are you still going out tonight for Janet’s birthday?” Josh called through the door.
“Yes, she’s my best friend!” I called back, “Are you still not coming?”
He didn’t even bother to answer me. Probably so he could go play his video game or do anything else but actually clean his own house. I’m not dealing with that today. I pulled out my phone and sent him a text: Going to Janet’s after the interview. Don’t wait up. I’ll be home tomorrow. I re-read it before adding a kiss emoji to try to lighten the mood. I was always trying to lighten the mood.
I sighed. Determined to focus on what was in front of me instead of what was behind, I pulled my shoulders back and set off towards the office.
If you want to read more monthly updates, you can find that here. If you want more information on A Royal Internship, those posts are here.
